Classic Chinese recipes from Made With Lau's kitchen to yours.
Made With Lau is a beloved YouTube channel that showcases traditional Cantonese recipes while celebrating family and cultural heritage. Launched in 2020 by Randy Lau, the channel features his father, Chung Sun Lau, a former chef, cooking authentic dishes with Randy narrating. Their videos blend cooking tutorials, personal stories, and heartwarming family moments, creating a space where food and culture intersect. I had the pleasure of producing and editing hundreds of their longform videos over the span of 3 years, contributing to the channel's growth and success from 100k to 1.5m+ subscribers.
A personal glimpse into the Lau family’s life beyond the kitchen.
In addition to editing recipe videos for Made With Lau's channel, I have also edited engaging vlogs that offer a personal glimpse into the Lau family’s life beyond the kitchen. These vlogs, such as their experiences attending NBA games or traveling to Hawaii, highlight the family’s dynamic and their adventures together.
From City Lights to Scenic Roads | Road Trip in Japan
Starting with the peace of Chiba and moving to the buzz of Tokyo, we kicked off our 8-day Japan adventure in the city. Then, we hit the road to Shizuoka, marking the start of an unforgettable journey!
Jasmine Pak Rating Everything They Ate AND Rode At Disneyland PARIS!
In October 2024, Jasmine Pak got to visit Europe and while Disneyland Paris wasn't originally on the itinerary, she couldn't stop thinking about it! They cancelled a whole day of plans and bought tickets to Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios.
A personal exploration of the concept of 'home' through my unique lens.
In light of Asian August 2020, BAM & Beyond encouraged individuals to explore the theme of 'home' by creating content. To showcase what 'home' means to me, I pieced together this short video with a mix of old and new clips that also represents growth.
A digital course offering 21 modules, dedicated to teaching authentic techniques and flavors of Cantonese cuisine.
The Canto Cooking Club is a digital course by Made With Lau that I co-produced and edited. Featuring over 21 modules, the course is dedicated to teaching the authentic techniques and flavors of Cantonese cuisine, guiding home cooks through traditional recipes in a way that’s both accessible and true to the rich culinary heritage. With over 1,400 members, the community continues to grow, fostering a shared love for Cantonese cooking.
A mini course that teaches students how to prepare nine classic Chinese dishes for a festive meal.
This course, an extension of The Canto Cooking Club's Fundamentals Library, teaches students how to recreate Chef Lau's traditional Chinese feasts, as made for his own family celebrations.
